NCIS Viewers have been warned: don’t miss the first few minutes of the September 22 premiere!
We may finally know the reason:
In an image from the episode, obtained by TV Guide Magazine, Tony DiNozzo, look to be tied to the same chair that held Ziva in the final scene of May’s finale.
Good luck trying to determine the reason why, as NCIS executive producer Shane Brennan says: “If you think you know why DiNozzo is tied to a chair, be prepared for a shocking surprise.”
Shane Brennan is a busy man. He’s serving as the executive producer for both NCIS and its upcoming spin-off, NCIS: Los Angeles, this fall. But Brennan found time to chat with Michael Ausiello this week, spilling a couple of beans regarding storylines on his two shows.
For example, when asked about the status of Gibbs’ boat next season, the producer said viewers haven’t seen the last of it.
“In the first three or four episodes, Gibbs has his tape measure out and he’s measuring the basin. And everyone will have to wait and see what goes in there,” he said.
As for NCIS: Los Angeles, it’s already been confirmed that Louise Lombard is out as Lara Macy, the presumed female lead.
Will we ever see this character on the show again? Maybe.
“She didn’t die,” Brennan said. “We’ll find out that she went to an overseas post. When Callen (Chris O’Donnell) was shot last season, they had to move to the new operation center and [Lara] was relocated. Will she come back? Never say never.”

So says the show’s executive producer, Shane Brennan, who told Entertainment Weekly that the seventh season premiere is a game-changer.
“You cannot miss the first minute of our season premiere,” he said. “You’ll think you know what’s going on, but then you’ll go, ‘What just happened?!?’”
Brennan also said Tony and Ziva’s relationship “will evolve rapidly,” adding that the pair will sleep together at some point and “it’ll be very unexpected.”
In this the twist he refers to in the opening of the season seven opener? Guess we’ll need to tune in and find out.
NCIS: Los Angeles already stars a series of familiar faces: Chris O’Donnell, LL Cool J and Linda Hunt will all play key roles on the show. But TV Guide reports that fans of the original series will spot a very familiar face when the spin-off debuts this fall: Rocky Carroll, who appears on NCIS as director Leon Vance, will take on the same character in NCIS: Los Angeles. The actor was promoted to series regular status on NCIS this past season. As for his new gig, Carroll said:
“I’ll be keeping my normal routine on the mother ship, and I’ll be doing at least six of the first 13 episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles.”
Adam Jamal Craig has been added to CBS’ new series “NCIS: Los Angeles” as a regular, while “The Wire” alum Michael Kenneth Williams, veteran Dabney Coleman and Paz de la Huerta have joined the cast of HBO’s Martin Scorsese-directed drama pilot “Boardwalk Empire.”
The CBS TV Studios-produced “NCIS: Los Angeles,” a spinoff from “NCIS” that will launch behind the hit crime procedural on Wednesdays this fall, stars Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J. It’s set at the Office of Special Projects, a division of NCIS that’s charged with apprehending dangerous criminals.
Craig will play a new character, Dominic Vaile, a new young agent. The actor drew the attention of the CBS casting executives this past pilot season with his performance on another CBS/CBS Studios drama pilot, “Washington Field.” After the pilot didn’t go, they recommended Craig to “NCIS: L.A.” creator and “NCIS” showrunner Shane Brennan.
Craig, who recently did multiepisode arcs on NBC’s “The Office” and “Heroes,” is repped by SMS and 1 Management.
Written by Terence Winter and to be directed by Scorsese, HBO’s “Empire” chronicles the early 20th century origins of Atlantic City and revolves around Nucky Johnson (Steve Buscemi), who runs a liquor-distribution ring, and Jimmy Darmody (Michael Pitt), his ruthless flunky.
De la Huerta will play Lucy, Nucky’s girlfriend, a hot party girl. Williams will play Chalky White, the defacto “mayor” of Chickenbone Beach, Atlantic City’s black section. He’s an intelligent ex-boxer and confidant of Nucky’s who rules his community with an iron fist.
Coleman will play the Commodore Kaestner, Nucky’s predecessor and mentor.
Production on “Boardwalk” started Tuesday on the East Coast.
De la Huerta, whose feature credits include “The Limits of Control” and “Enter the Void,” is repped by Don Buchwald & Associates, Untitled and attorney Ira Shrek.
An ICE queen is going to give the NCIS team a big chill during May sweeps.
TVGuide.com has learned that Jaime Murray will guest-star on the CBS series’ penultimate episode of the season, playing Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent Julia “Jules” Foster-Yates.
As Gibbs’ gang engages in this cross-departmental exercise, Agent Foster-Yates will get under the skin of certain team members, be it through flirtation, butting heads or jealousy. The question is, Which team members will have their feathers ruffled by which approach?
Murray’s previous credits include Showtime’s Dexter, where during Season 2 she played Lila, the title character’s rather insane, house-burning, Doakes-killing and clothing-averse fling. She also costarred in the CW’s very short-lived Valentine, and guested in a March epsiode of The Mentalist.
